Job Description

We are seeking an individual to support our field, warehouse, and office operations. In this role, you will coordinate closely with internal departments including Purchasing & Logistics, Warehouse, Project Management, Service, Sales, and Field Operations to ensure timely procurement, tracking, and delivery of tools, equipment, and materials critical to project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage tool check-in/check-out processes for jobsites and team members.
  • Identify tools and lifts requiring maintenance or repair; coordinate service with external vendors and update availability accordingly.
  • Assist in staging and dispatching tools and materials for outgoing jobsites.
  • Receive incoming shipments, inspect for accuracy and damage, label items, and store them appropriately.
  • Prepare and coordinate outgoing shipments to jobsites, ensuring completeness of all components.
  • Process vendor returns including documentation, packaging, shipping, and ERP data entry.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Issue purchase order numbers through the ERP system; ensure accurate job or work order coding and costing.
  • Track and update inventory transactions and charge-outs within the ERP system.
  • Participate in inventory audits and support procurement of replacement inventory.
  • Communicate and coordinate with vendors on pricing, order placement, delivery timelines, and product availability.
  • Keep internal stakeholders informed on expected delivery dates and any shipment updates.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2+ years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or materials handling/warehouse operations, preferably in the mechanical or construction industry.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Familiarity with tools, PPE, construction site practices, and forklift operation (forklift certification or willingness to obtain required).
  • Strong customer service mindset with a proactive and responsive approach to field support.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and working in a variety of warehouse and field environments.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management, communication skills, and attention to detail.
